Scouting

Epworth is proud to sponsor the following Scouting programs

Cub Scouts
Every Tuesday evening, Epworth is bustling with activity as Cub Scout Pack 290 gathers for its weekly den meetings and monthly pack meeting (3rd Tuesday). Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos, under the guidance of some terrific leaders, work to attain various achievements and badges. The pack organizes several campouts during the year and plans an exciting activity every month for all the Dens to attend.

Boy Scout Troop 16
Troop 16 meet most Tuesday evenings from 6:30–8:00 at the Historic site. Troop 16 is part of the Natchez Trace District, Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  Troop 16 was chartered in 1997, and is under the leadership of Scoutmaster Mr. Richard Cole. Girl Scouts
A group of middle school girls in Cadet Troop 2655 meet each Monday from 5–7 p.m.

In addition to this troop using the Epworth facility for its meetings, Epworth also hosts the monthly meeting of Service Unit 176, a gathering of leaders from 52 area troops that serve more than 300 girls.
