A Statement of Purpose for Our Church As we look first to the Scriptures, and then look upon both our
community of faith and our world community, we recognize that our
faith in Jesus Christ, nurtured by worship, study of the Word, and
fellowship with other believers, directs and shapes the purpose of
our church. That purpose is to continually make known the love
of Christ to all, as we each, through the offering of our varied
gifts, find ways to become servants who work to transform conditions
which cause suffering and who minister to the spiritual, emotional
and physical needs of others so that the love of Christ will be
revealed.
