Global Impact Celebration and Faith Promise
During our preparation for and participation in the Global Impact Celebration weekend, April 16-18, we will learn about many mission and ministry opportunities in our community, surrounding counties, in the state, in the southeast of our country, and around the world. Missionaries and leaders of these ministries will share with us about their work, their missions, and their callings. In addition, this will be a time for spiritual reflection concerning our own commitment and devotion to Jesus’ instructions in Acts 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”. >>Click here to learn more.

What is Pretzel Sunday?
Pretzel Sunday is a fun time for our kids to get together in celebration of Lent. We will learn the story of Jesus as we make pretzels, dye Easter eggs and participate in a special mission project. Please join us this year for lots of fun!
Sunday March 21 from 2:30-4pm at Vaden Hall.

Volunteers In Mission 2010 Spring Trip
Our Columbia District’s VIM trip for this spring is now set. Please consider joining us for a great time of serving HIM! We will be going to Austell, GA, just west of Atlanta. We will leave by bus on Monday morning, April 5th and return Saturday evening, April 10th. The purpose of this trip is to support those who were severely hit by flood waters in September, 2009. There are many homes that need sheetrock and trim work, painting, clean-up, etc. to enable families to return to their homes. Further information and sign-up sheets are available in the Narthex at both the New and Historic Sites. Commitments are needed by March 14th . Questions?: Contact Vic Lindberg.

Masters Scholarship Application
All high school seniors who attend Epworth are encouraged to apply for the George and Mary Masters Scholarship. Applications are available in the church office at both sites. Please return your application to Dawn Scott or Angie Ketchum by April 15.

The Children’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Palm Sunday, March 28th. Beginning next Sunday morning, there will be collection bins available in the Narthex for your donations of plastic eggs and candy. Thanks for your help!
