Preparing for our Mission Impact Celebration April 8-10 overlaps with preparing our hearts for Easter.
Lent is often thought of as a time to give up something. Can we think of it as giving up ourselves in service to God? Our MIC theme “Here I Am” indicates a willingness to be available to God.  Look for ways to serve others, to be in mission by sharing God’s love. By the way you interact with others every day you can be Jesus to someone. Please share your mission stories with our Epworth family beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 10. You can share them on Facebook, email them to kch87@aol.com, or put them in the designated box in the narthex. You can do this anonymously and still be an inspiration to others. Thank you for your faithful commitment to being available to God.

Outreach News Update
We have been supporting the ministry of Pastor Himidi Sagga at Pommern Parish in Tanzania for several years. Your Faith Promise donations help pay tuition for 3 students — Risper, Hekima and Henry. At Christmas, they baptized 50 infants and had larger than normal attendance. In his emails, Pastor Sagga always says "convey greetings and thanks to your church" and that he is praying for Epworth. Please remember and pray for him and the faithful congregations he serves. Thank you for your support.

Our Mission Impact Celebration (MIC) will be here soon — April 8-10!
We have a great line-up of guest missionaries: Carolyn Parr, missionary to Turkey; Jim Melrose from Kairos Prison Ministries; Brian Myers from Graceworks; Lamont Lester from Franktownopenhearts; Rev. Toi King from Community Care Fellowship, and Ted Warnock from Sager Brown UMCOR Depot. These servants are coming to share their experiences with us as they relate to our theme "Here I Am." Please plan to be a part of this transformational experience, and say "Here I Am" to God's call in your life.
