All Aboard the Epworth Express!
Join us on Saturday, February 7th from 8:30am - 12:00pm at the historic site in the fellowship hall, for an important event in the life of Epworth United Methodist Church. With an eye towards the future, we urge you to be a part of this interactive training retreat focused on adults who volunteer with our children and youth. Click here for event info on Facebook!

Epworth Tweens Team
Introducing a new program of learning, fun, and activity geared specifically toward that age group of children that aren’t quite Youth yet, but have outgrown the Children’s Program and just won’t go to that “baby stuff.” These age groups, 4th Grade – 6th Grades, are known as Tweens. We will host the first Epworth Tweens Team meet up on: Sunday, February 22nd, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Vaden Hall

MIC April 17-19, Save The Date!
Save the date! Our Mission Impact Celebration is set for April 17-19, 2015. Plans are underway for an exciting weekend with the theme "Do Something," based on the song by Matthew West. If you would like to help plan, or volunteer for responsibilities during the weekend, come to our planning meeting at 6:30 PM on Monday, January 12, at the new site, or contact Kathy Heard.

Feeding the Homeless
Every third Friday night a group from Epworth meets with Rehobath UMC members at the Salvation Army Center in Nashville and drives to the Jefferson Street Bridge to share food and fellowship with our homeless neighbors. We need to be at the Salvation Army Center by 5:15 pm. Contact Teresa Gary or Tim Underwood if you would like to go or have questions.

Epworth has supported Upper Sand Mountain Parish since 2010.  This is a cooperative of 8 rural UMCs in northeastern Alabama. They serve people through a food pantry, a thrift store, disaster recovery, school supplies, utilities and prescription assistance,  garden seeds, and home building & repair. We will collect canned foods for them during the month of January. Please place your donations in the collection box in the narthex at the new site. If you need more info, contact Kathy Heard at 615-368-7432.

Epworth Information Update Form
