Family Night Supper, Wed. Feb. 10th
Following the meal, there will be a program about Living Wills and Directives with speaker Kate Paine, nurse/lawyer/ethicist from St. Thomas Hospital in the Good News Classroom.

UM Support for Haiti
A Haiti emergency fund has been developed by the United Methodist Committee on Relief in response to the devastating earthquake.  You may contribute to this fund by mailing your donation to UMCOR, PO Box 9068, New York, NY 10087 or by placing a check in this mornings offering plate.  Please make checks out to UMCOR with Advance #418325  in the memo line.  100% of gifts made to this fund will go to help the people of Haiti.

An Opportunity For Spiritual Growth
Have you ever asked the question, “What is meant by the “way of grace” in our lives as  Christians? Companions in Christ The Way of Grace is a ten (10) week small-group study that provides an opportunity for participants to explore God’s grace through the lens of eight encounters between Jesus and various persons described in John’s Gospel. Through a two-hour session each week you will discover how God’s grace is at work to reshape us in the likeness of Christ today, just as it touched and transformed the lives of Biblical characters two thousand years ago.  Each week new material will be introduced and five daily exercises will help you reflect on your life in light of that material. Companions in Christ The Way of Grace will be led by Velma Bradley here at Epworth either during the morning or evening or both times (depending upon how many respond) beginning Tuesday, February 16th.  A sign up sheet will be available in the narthex after worship on Sunday mornings or call the church office to indicate your interest in participating.
