Michael McCord, Pastor
Rev. Michael D. McCord, Ed.D., is a Nashville-based pastor, educator, and executive who is passionate about helping people cultivate curiosity and embrace transformation. Michael's ministry is rooted in a simple conviction: people and organizations are capable of more change than they often imagine. He has served small United Methodist congregations, Wesley Foundations, and the global office for United Methodist campus ministry, including extensive organizational development work in Southeast Asia. He has served as a trustee of nine United Methodist-related colleges and universities where he helped to cultivate spaces that inspire and support the future leaders of the church and the world.
Michael serves as COO of SFM Services, where he leads a team committed to empowering mission-driven organizations by caring for the facilities that support their work. Michael holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership in Learning Organizations from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Homiletics from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mercer University. Michael is a husband, father, and coach who has dedicated his life to helping others discover their calling and imagine what’s possible.

Andrew King, Director of Music
Andrew King is a lifelong musician who has been sharing his love of music in the church since he was in middle school. A devoted follower of Jesus, Andrew is passionate about using his gifts to help others connect with God through worship.
For the past eleven years, Andrew has served as an educator—nine of those in Williamson County Schools. He spent ten years teaching instrumental music before transitioning this year to Technology. He teaches courses in Graphic Design, STEM, Robotics, and Computer Science. He is also the head coach for the boys bowling team.
Andrew joined Epworth United Methodist Church in 2017, where he sang with the choir, played drums with the worship team. He has also served on various committees as a member, and represents our church as Lay Delegate for general conference. In March 2024, he assumed the role of Director of Music, continuing to build a ministry that fosters joyful, Spirit-filled worship at Epworth United Methodist Church.
He lives in Thompson’s Station with his wife, Krystal—whom he met in high school band—their dog, Linus, and their fish, Mr. Fish.
